Tollywood's Most Successful director SS Rajamouli's magnum opus film, Baahubali — The Conclusion is all set for a grand release on April 28th in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. Reliable sources tell us that the movie will go for censor in the morning of 17th, Monday.
The Overseas Premiers will happen on 27th. North America rights have been sold for Rs.40 Cr on Minimum Guarantee basis for Telugu, Tamil and Malayam version theatrical rights. Hindi will be released on 10% commission basis on behalf of Producers. North America distributor has paid only Rs.18 Cr and still need to pay another 22 Crore.
Local exhibitors were interested in buying but due to extremely high prices, not many local exhibitors are coming up to buy. So far hardly 20 to 25% business was done in the USA. All major locations were still not sold. USA Distributor needs to take 75 to 80% risk. So he is hesitant now. He has to clear the payment next week to ensure a smooth release.
