Uday Kiran ended his life with suicide and many even today blame Chiranjeevi family for his downfall by breaking the engagement with the Megastar's elder daughter, Sushmitha. But Uday Kiran's own sister Sridevi, who stays in Muscat, Oman along with her family clarified this in an interview.
She revealed that it was Chiranjeevi who brought the proposal but then after the engagement, Uday Kiran felt that the likes-dislikes of him and Sushmita are not matching. He decided to call off the wedding as he felt that they are not compatible with each other.
She revealed that the actor is not in touch with Chiranjeevi's family. Uday Kiran's sister also revealed that Uday Kiran had a bitter breakup (with a lady journalist and anchor) and it was then Chiranjeevi brought the alliance to help him at that stage.
