Sai Pallavi forayed into the film industry with the huge success of 'Premam'. Even though 'Premam' was a Malayalam movie, the movie was a huge hit in Tamil Nadu. In fact, it became the first Malayalam movie to run more than 200 days.
The actress Sai Pallavi became the most popular actress too. She was flooded with offers in the Tamil Film Industry. However, she turned down all the offers. This included even some big offers from reputed directors like Gautam Menon, Maniratnam.
Now, she is making a comeback to Tamil cinema under AL Vijay direction for the movie titled 'Karu'. Now, Sai Pallavi who showed her back to the directors initially is now turning back and requesting them to give a chance once again. But so far there has been muted response from the director's side. At the same time, Sai Pallavi rests her hopes on the Telugu Film Industry and she keeps high hopes on 'Fidaa'. She also hopes to do more projects in Telugu.
