Lavanya Tripathi was supposed to be the female lead in the Tamil Remake of Naga Chaitanya's 100% Love. But the actress walked away from the movie sets. Lavanya was the original choice opposite GV Prakash Kumar and she is now replaced by Shalini Pandey who rose to fame with Arjun Reddy.

On the other side, the young actress also bagged a coveted role in Mahanati, the biopic of the Legendary actress, Savitri. Reports are that the actress has been roped in to play the role of yesteryear actress Jamuna in the biopic. Jamuna is a close friend of Savitri in those days and is a living testimony of Savitri's life starting from a busy actress to dying in a miserable state.

She will be sharing the screens with the likes of Star Heroines like Samantha and Keerthi Suresh in the film. The Vijay Devarakonda starer on the other side is inching towards the 30 Crore Share Club and is one of the biggest hits in Tollywood in terms of Return on Investment.
