Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut scored a huge hit in 2014 with the Blockbuster Queen directed by Vikas Bahl that co-starred Lisa Haydon and Rajkumar Rao. The film went on to win her a national award for best actress, and also established herself as a superstar.
Now, the south remakes of the hit flick have started shaping up after huge rounds of discussion for casting and rights. While the Kannada version of Queen has been titled Butterfly and will star Parul Yadav who earned rave reviews for her performance in Killing Veerappan, and is directed by actor/Director Ramesh Aravind.
And finally, the details of the cast and crew of the Tamil version too has been announced. This Tamil version of Queen has been titled Paris Paris and will have Kajal Aggarwal playing the role played by Kangana Ranaut, and Ramesh Aravind who directs the Kannada version will be helming this one as well. The film will have dialogues by Thamizhachi Thangapandian and will mark the Tamil debut of Bollywood music director Amit Trivedi.
