Action hero Vishal is now not just an actor, but also holds special responsibilities in the Tamil film industry, as he's the secretary of Tamil actors association and the chief of Tamil film producers council as well. On the acting front, he's currently busy shooting for 2 films.
Of these 2 flicks, the most exciting one seems to be Sandakozhi 2 which is progressing at a rapid pace at Madurai sets erected in Chennai. Directed by Lingusamy, this movie is the sequel to the actor-director combo's 2005 blockbuster that established Vishal as a mass action hero. Sandakozhi 2 also stars Rajkiran, Keerthi Suresh, and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar playing a Pucca negative role.
The recent update from the crew is that the film has received a huge boost in the form of support from young and talented hero Dhanush, who has crooned the peppy opening song of Sandakozhi 2 in Yuvan Shankar Raja's music.
Meanwhile, Vishal is gearing up for his next release, Irumbuthirai costarring Samantha, and Arjun, which is releasing this Pongal, to resurrect his career after flops like Kathakali and Marudhu. It should be noted that Samantha earlier worked with Dhanush for 'Thangamagan'.
