Ace director Maniratnam, who last came up with the disastrous Kaatru Veliyidai / Cheliya starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles, which was also his landmark 25th film coincidentally, has to begin working on pre-production activities of his next flick which happens to be an action thriller.
This 26th flick of the veteran is a grand Multi-starrer, and stars controversy king Silambarasan aka Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy, Fahadh Faasil, Jyothika and Aishwarya Rajesh in lead roles, and veterans Prakashraj and Jayasudha playing supporting roles.
Recently, actor Simbu's pic with Maniratnam wasn't viral, and it was revealed that despite the red card, the actor is still a part of the movie and has undergone training and acting workshops for the movie. It should be noted that recently he was blamed for doing dubbing in Bathroom for his last movie 'AAA'.
Meanwhile, the industry is abuzz with news that the Action packed thriller will have Simbu, Fahadh Faasil and Arvind Swamy playing the sons of Prakashraj and Jayasudha and Vijay Sethupathi plays a cop who's running behind Simbu who happens to be a gangster in hiding. Now, as per sources, Aditi Rao Hydari might do a small but substantial role in the movie and she will pair with STR. The film with music by AR Rahman begins shooting in January 2018.
