Post a disastrous 2017 filled with back to back colossal disasters, the dual role flick Gautam Nanda, which started off Promising to end up as a flop, and followed it with the release of the long-delayed Oxygen directed by Jothi Krishna costarring Anu Emmanuel, which again ended as a flop thanks to it's poor execution and lackluster screenplay.
However the action hero is unfazed by the consecutive failures and is all geared up to score a thumping success with his next flick, and this time around, he'll be seen playing a mass hero with family sentiments and romance in good proportion. The film is currently progressing at a rapid pace with shooting of the movie happening at Hyderabad.
Directed by Chakri, the film is produced by Radha Mohan who had previously produced the dud Bengal tiger that had Ravi Teja, Tamannaah, and Raashi Khanna. This new movie of Gopichand co-stars the current lucky charm of many producers, the hit heroine Mehreen, and the makers are planning to name the movie as Pantham, eyeing an August release. Mehreen is expected to give a Hit for Gopichand!
