The mallu beauty Keerthy Suresh, daughter of yesteryear actress Menaka, has been making steady inroads in the film industry, ever since she graduated from a child artist to a heroine with her Malayalam film Geethanjali directed by Priyadarshan, and years later following it up with Kollywood and Tollywood debuts.
Though she started off on a dull note in Tamil as her guest release ithu enna maayam sank without a trace, she was helped by films like Rajnimurugan and Remo with Siva Karthikeyan which established herself as a heroine to look out for. In Tollywood too, she has a hundred percent success, as both her films Nenu Sailaja and Nenu Local were hits.
This Sankranthi/ Pongal, she's having Releases in both Tamil and Telugu, as Thaanaa Serndha Koottam and it's Telugu dubbed version gang releases on January 12, while her Telugu straight movie Agnyaathavaasi costarring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan releases on January 10. 2016 Pongal she scored a hit with Rajnimurugan, and Last Pongal she has a disastrous Tamil release Bairavaa. It is to be seen if Keerthy can set her Sankranthi record straight this time.
