Young Malayalam hero Nivin Pauly, who had been having a steady career scoring Blockbusters and Superhits one after the other ever since Premam happened, with Action Hero Biju, Jacobinte Swargarajyam, Sakhavu, Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela, recently faced a major setback with his Tamil flick Richie becoming a disastrous outing.
However, Nivin is all geared up shooting for his upcoming period flick Kayamkulam Kochunni directed by Rosshan Andrrews who had directed hits like Mumbai Police, How old are you, 36 Vayathiniley to name a few, which is progressing at a rapid pace, with shooting happening at a brisk pace at various locations.
It has now been officially confirmed that the film will have none other than the versatile actor Mohanlal in an all-important role in Kayamkulam Kochunni. The complete actor Lalettan will be seen playing a 20-minute cameo and will be seen playing a role which can be played only by him, reportedly. It must be noted that this role was initially offered to Amitabh Bachchan and then to Nagarjuna. Kayamkulam Kochunni has Priya Anand playing the female lead.
