Actress Spits and Tear the Paper as they 'Shamed' the Legend by calling him as 'Dalit' - Watch Video
The legendary music director, Ilayaraja, fondly called Isaignani by his millions of fans all over the world, has added yet another feather to his cap, as he has been conferred the second highest civilian award of India, Padma Vibhushan recently, which has been announced on eve of the country's 69th republic day celebrations.
The Maestro has scored music for more than 1000 movies, and has won numawardsAwards in his illustrious career, and has scored music in almost all south indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and has been entertaining audience all over the world with his music, and is also a five time national award winner, and also won the Padma Bhushan in 2010.
On one end as music lovers are rejoicing his success, on the other end, one of the most popular newspaper of South India, the new Indian express carried a news article on its first page, with the caption "Dalit outreach with Ilayaraja Padma", referring to the caste of the music director, and glorifying his caste, inviting numerous trolls and Angry reactions from netizens for the unnecessary caste Color.
