The Bubbly beauty Jyothika, who started off playing Energetic, the girl next door roles in films, later displayed acting prowess with films like Pachaikili Muthucharam, Mozhi, Chandramukhi, sillunu oru Kadhal to name a few, before getting married to her love, Actor Suriya and calling it quits, disappointing her
numerous fans.
However, she made a surprise comeback to films with 36 Vayathiniley in 2015, following it up with Magalir Mattum, besides getting committed to the national award-winning maker Bala Directorial, Naachiyaar. With the teaser and trailer of Naachiyaar already creating shockwaves in the industry with Jyothika uttering cuss words, Jyothika has revealed several facts on the movie.
Jyothika revealed that she was told by Bala that she's gonna play a role that'd be completely new for her, while Maestro Ilayaraja himself said it was a completely new type movie for Bala himself. She also explained how Bala had told her to change her voice modulation to sound more of a base voice, to match her angry cop role. The film, also starring GV Prakash has Jyothika playing a rough and tough cop fighting for justice, and releases worldwide on February 16. Check some photos below,
