It's becoming common these days, for women facing sexual assault and harassment, with molestation becoming an extremely usual habit for the sexual predators. This extreme crime is not just limited to common women, but also extends to celebrities, who are believed by people to lead a safe and happy, posh lifestyle sans such issues.
Of late, actresses are becoming more prone to such cases, as last year, Malayalam actress Bhavana was assaulted, and even a top actor was arrested on his alleged involvement and she got married recently. Even two days back, top Tamil and Malayalam actress, the dusky Beauty Amala Paul had filed a complaint of sexual harassment against an industrialist.
Not even a day since Amala Paul took action, and yesterday, another Malayalam actress faced a worse situation. Young Malayalam actress Sanusha who has also starred in few Tamil flicks (Alex Pandiyan, Kodi Veeran), was traveling in a train, and she was asleep, when she suddenly felt someone touching her lips.
The Malayalam Film Industry which raised its voice for Bhavana has not even expressed their rage against the Society for not coming to help Sanusha during such a time. AMMA Association which acted swift for Bhavana has never even gave a press release so far regarding this issue.
