In recent times, the most controversial visual stuff in Kollywood was none other than the short film Lakshmi, that starred actress Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli, and was directed by Sarjun KM, an erstwhile associate of classy maker Gautham Vasudev Menon, and was in fact released on Youtube, in the video channel of GVM, Ondraaga Entertainment.
The short film spoke on how situations force a working middle-class woman falls prey to her desires and gets involved in a post-marital affair. The film was a center of all controversies for a while, as it had a reference to the verses of famous Tamil poet Bharathi, and this irked the Tamil lovers and film lovers as well.
In no time, the short hit 1 million views, and later Sarjun KM came up with another hit short film Maa, which spoke on child abuse, and that became the focus-point of controversies as well. Now, it has been revealed that KJR studios, which had produced the hard-hitting social thriller Aramm, and the comic caper Gulaebhagavali, is all set to produce a movie which will be directed by Sarjun.
This movie will be a horror flick starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara. It must be noted that the director's first movie Echarikai starring Varalaxmi, Sathyaraj, is yet trelease, , and he has bagged his second movie as a biggie too.
