Rakul Preet was easily one of the topmost actresses in the film industry and she was flying high with some notable projects under her kitty. But everything sank without a trace when Mahesh Babu's 'SPYder' released and the movie failed miserably at the Box-Office.
The failure even left Rakul in a state of despair as she couldn't get back on her feet in Tollywood. Even though she tasted success with 'Khakee', it was considered more as a Tamil movie and she signed new projects in Tamil and not in Telugu. To be honest, the whole 2017 was dreadful for Rakul as Winner, Jaya Janaki Nayaka, SPYder were colossal flops.
Even though Khakee and Ra Randoi Veduka Choodam did a decent business, it failed to capitalize the momentum for a top league actress. Now, Rakul works in Hindi and Tamil and she couldn't get the attention of Tollywood directors. The number of movies she has in Telugu is a BIG ROUND... Yep! ZERO...
