Young mega hero Sai Dharam Tej had a sound start in Tollywood with flicks like Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, Subrahmanyam for sale to name a few, and supreme turned out to be a superhit, propelling him to stardom, and making him a much in demand hero.
However, his later flicks like Rey, Thikka, Winner, and Jawaan failed miserably, not even having a run of 15-20 days, and ended as pathetic failures. In such a scenario, Sai Dharam Tej had pinned his hopes on his recent Release Intelligent directed by ace director VV Vinayak, which opened to extremely negative reviews and poor audience turnout. As we reported earlier, the movie had a poor opening and it dropped further in the coming days. The pre-release business is done at 28 Crores and trade souces confirmed the movie collections will be in the range of 'Rey'.
The film has been bashed unanimously by critics all over, who've termed the film as an experience, intelligent people will avoid having. In such a scenario, while he was scheduled to work with Maruthi, it's been speculated that Maruthi is planning to drop the film and work with Allu Arjun and Ramcharan. Now Sai Dharam Tej has his last hopes on his romantic flick with Anupama Parameswaran directed by Karunakaran and a film by Chandrashekhar Yeleti to save his career.
