2016 saw him making a stunning comeback as a boxing coach in Irudhi Suttru, which set the platform for an amazing reentry into films, and he followed it with the cool encounter cop act in 2017 blockbuster Vikram Vedha, costarring Vijay Sethupathi. The happening actor, today took it to his Instagram account to post a picture of him in a hospital bed, much to the shock of his fans.
It was later revealed that the actor had undergone a surgery on his right shoulder, and is slowly recovering. The actor currently has a number of projects in his kitty in multiple languages, like the Tamil flick tentatively titled Gramaphone with Sarkunam, Chandamama Door Se in Hindi, and Savyasachi costarring Nag Chaitanya and Bhumika Chawla in Telugu. Now, doctors have confirmed it would take 12-15 weeks for recovery and all his projects are getting delayed now!
