Natural Star Nani, who's riding on a success wave, with his continuous hits for the past 3 years, with a hattrick of hits last year - Nenu Local, Ninnukori and MCA Middle class Abbayi, is a happy man, as even his second production venture, Awe directed by Prashanth Varma and starring Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menen turned out to be a surprise blockbuster.
It must be noted that his last release, MCA, was meted out with negative and average critical response, as opposed to the positive reviews to its competitor, the Akhil starrer Hello, but ultimately, MCA had the last laugh as it turned out to be a surprise blockbuster of that Christmas season.
While Nani had taken a mass avatar in MCA, with many punches, action scenes, it has now been revealed that Nani might star next in a movie directed by the commercial success maker Koratala Siva, in a film that will be bankrolled by Mikkilineni Sudhakar, in his Yuvasudha arts banner. Shruti Haasan is likely to be the female lead in this venture. As an official confirmation is awaited on this, Nani will have his next release Krishnarjuna Yudhdham releasing on April 12.
