Promising actor Karthi, who made a stunning comeback last year with his cop thriller Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru directed by H Vinoth, post the disastrous result of his Manirathnam directorial Kaatru Veliyidai, has officially begun his next flick, which will the 17th movie of his career.
This film will have the actor paired for the second time with his Theeran costar Rakul Preet Singh, and the romantic entertainer will be directed by Debutant Rajath Ravishankar, who had previously worked with biggies like Anurag Kashyap. The film was formally launched recently with a pooja ceremony.
Also starring a stellar support cast including Karthik, Prakashraj, Amrutha Srinivasan, Ramya Krishnan, the movie has music by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography by Velraj. The film begins shooting in Chennai from Marc 8, and will be shot in exotic locales of Europe, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Himalayan zones.
