Natural star Nani was last seen in the 2017 Christmas release MCA Middle class Abbayi, directed by Venu Sriram and costarring pimple Beauty Sai Pallavi, Bhumika Chawl, and Rajiv Kanakala, which went on to be a blockbuster at the box office despite tough competition from Akhil starrer hello.
While Hello received favorable reviews but failed commercially, MCA received a poor critical response but went on to be a blockbuster, collecting a worldwide share of 40 crores at the end of its theatrical run. With MCA Nani also scored a hat-trick including Ninnukori and Nenu local.
Next, Nani will be seen this week in Krishnarjuna Yuddham, in which he'll be seen in dual roles for the third time after gentleman and Jendapai Kapiraju. The movie has done a pre-release business of 47 crores reportedly and needs to get a share of 35 crores worldwide to be a hit.
Let's see if the natural star can win this time with this movie directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and costarring Anupama Parameswaran. But inside reports say that the movie is not worth the hype and it might end well below the expectations. So watch with zero expectations!
