The first look of the Tollywood sensation Vijay Sai Deverakonda, from the upcoming biopic of the legendary actress Savithri, Mahanati, was released a few days back, and his look in the poster had created a nice impression, with him seen riding an 80s scooter and having a Yashica camera as well.
Now it has been revealed that Vijay Deverakonda plays a journalist named Vijay Antony in the movie, and he will be seen playing the romantic interest of the gorgeous Mallu beauty Samantha who plays a pivotal role, the person from whose point of view the whole movie is narrated.
Interestingly, Samantha herself plays a journalist named Madhuravani in the movie. Mahanati, directed by Yevade Subramaniam fame Nag Ashwin has Keerthi Suresh playing the legendary Savithri. and also stars Dulquer Salmaan. Prakashraj, Shalini Pandey, and many others, and releases on May 9.
