Megastar Chiranjeevi, post his superb comeback stunning the audience and critics alike, with the 2017 blockbuster Khaidi No 150 directed by VV Vinayak, had signed on to play the lead in the historical Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is his 151st movie, and is bankrolled by Mega Powerstar Ramcharan in his own Konidela Productions.
The historical is based on the life and times of Uyalawada Narasimha Reddy, one of the earliest freedom fighters of the state, and will have Chiru playing the role in a new look. While the movie was steadily progressing with a specially erected set in Hyderabad, now the team has taken a pause from the shoot, as Nayantara is not attending the shoot due to unknown reasons. Chiranjeevi also left to the USA and the team paused everything.
The shoot will be resumed once Chiru and Nayan are back, and it was in the last schedule that Megastar AmitaBachchanhan joined the crew, as he plays Chiru's mentor in the movie, and Lady Superstar Nayanthara also had shot for few scenes, as she plays the romantic interest. Milky beauty Tamannaah will be joining team Sye Raa in the next schedule reportedly.
