The pimple Beauty Sai Pallavi, had a great reception in the south film industry, with her Malayalam debut movie Premam and followed it with another hit Kali. She received a rousing reception for her Telugu debut Fidaa and then scored another blockbuster with MCA Middle class Abbayi as well.
Last week saw the release of her next movie, which happened to be her Tamil debut after a blink and you miss roles in movies like Dhaam Dhoom, the Telugu/Tamil bilingual Kanam/ Diya, which has been directed by AL Vijay and also stars Naga Shourya and baby Veronica.
The film which revolves around the spirit of an aborted child coming for its revenge on its killers opened up to average reviews, and while in Tamil it has received a decent response, in Telugu it had no takers at all and is headed towards disaster result. The movie, being released at a time when Bharat Ane Nenu and Avengers infinity war released, has been crushed by both the movies, giving Sai Pallavi her first huge flop.
