Team Mahanati have been going all out promoting the movie, in different, unique and innovative ways, by releasing special stills and posters, with the reel and real Savithris together, the grand audio release event presided over by Young Tiger Jr NTR, and with character introduction teaser promos.
While the Sada Nannu and Mooga Manasulu song promos were already hit, recently, the team released character promos of Director Krish who plays KV Reddy and Srinivas Avasarala playing LV Prasad, with both the character intros having a common feature being the narration by none other than Natural Star Nani.
Nani has always been special to director Nag Ashwin, who had made his film debut 3 years ago with Yevade Subramanyam, that had Nani and Vijay Deverakonda playing lead roles, and now, the actor has come forward to help Nag promote Mahanati as well. Infact, Nani was supposed to play a role in Mahanati too. Mahanati, starring Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salman, Samantha, Vijay Deverakonda , releases worldwide on May 9, and its Tamil version Nadigaiyar Thilagam releases on May 11.
