The Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani, who shot to fame with the blockbuster Hindi flick MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, later could not make much of an impact in Bollywood, as her next flick Machine failed big time. However, she struck big down south, as she was booked to play the female lead in Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer political entertainer Bharat Ane Nenu.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie had Mahesh playing a young Chief minister, and Kiara Playing a member of a research team assisting the CM, as well as his love interest, Vasumathi. Bharat Ane Nanu turned out to be a huge blockbuster, and grossed 200 crores, while also earning a reputation for Kiara, as someone who can perform and can look like a traditional Telugu Ammayi on screen.
Even before the release of Bharat Ane Nenu, Kiara was signed to play the female lead in Ramcharan starrer Boyapati Srinu directorial Oora mass flick, the shooting of which is progressing rapidly. Now, the pretty Kiara has been approached by several other makers too, but the problem is that. they have all approached her with typical glam roles that would require her to wear skimpy outfits, as they had been impressed by her bikini photoshoots in film magazines of the north. Now, Kiara, having set a homely image among the Telugu audience with Vasumathi, is in a dilemma as to accept or reject the glam roles.
