Controversial hero Simbu aka STR was last seen making a stunning Comeback with the ace director Maniratnam directorial Multi-starrer venture Chekka Chivantha Vaanam which grossed more than 95 crores becoming a blockbuster.
After that success, Simbu had been working on his next project, the remake of 2014 blockbuster Telugu movie Attarintiki Daaredhi directed by Trivikram and starring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
Recently, when the first look poster of this remake was released and the movie has been titled as Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven afternoon Simbu's dialogue in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The trailer of the movie which got released recently also got a good response. Costarring Megha Akash, Catherine Teres, and Kushboo, Vandha Rajavathaan Varuvenreleases on Pongal.
