Rising hero of Kollywood Siva Karthikeyan had last scored his first major failure in the form of his third collaboration with his Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajnimurugan director Ponram's Seemaraja costarring Samantha and Simran, which however had great openings of 40 crores.
However, unfazed by the failure, Siva Karthikeyan presented his next avatar and this time he's donning the hat of a producer for the first time with production banner Siva Karthikeyan productions maiden venture Kanaa, directed by singer turned actor turned director Arunraja Kamaraj.
The movie based on a small town girl rising to the level of a national level cricket player stars Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role, and has veteran Sathyaraj as her father, was a huge hit in both Tamil and the recently released Telugu version. Now, the same Aishwarya Rajesh has acted as a sister to Siva Karthikeyan in the upcoming movie 'NVP'.
