Muni has been one of the most successful horror comedy franchises of Kollywood and starting from 2007, the movies in the series have set the cash registers ringing, and established Raghava Lawrence as a successful maker in this hilarious genre.
His Muni 2007 had Rajkiran and Vedhika, and his next, the 2011 flick Muni 2 Kanchana had Sarathkumar and Raai Laxmi and the third installment Muni 3 Kanchana 2 released in 2015 had Nithya Menen and Tapsee Pannu, and all the parts were huge hits in Tamil as well as Telugu.
Now, the fourth part of the series, Muni 4, Kanchana 3, is almost ending shooting completion, and the movie, starring Lawrence, Vedhika, Oviya and Nikki Tamboli, the debutant, is bankrolled by Sun pictures and aims an April 12 or April 18 release.
