Suriya who was last seen in Pongal 2018 release Thaanaa Serndha Koottam helmed by Vignesh Shivn and costarring Keerthy Suresh, had had next begun working on biggies, NGK directed by Selvaraghavan and Kaappaan directed by KV Anand.
Though NGK was initially planned as Diwali release, Selvarghavan's health problems delayed NGK shoot and release was delayed too, and meanwhile, Suriya began shooting for Kaappaan. Suriya returned to NGK sets last month, and a few days back Selvaraghavan announced that the movie was wrapped.
Besides, celebrating the wrap as well as a festival treat, Suriya gifted the 120 crew members of team NGK with gold coins, for their impressive contribution. The actor also gifted Rakul Preet a special Gold chain. Suriya plays MLA Nandha Gopalan Kumaran, and the movie also stars pimple beauty Sai Pallavi and slender babe Rakul Preet Singh and aims an April release.
