Natural star Nani had always expressed that ace director Maniratnam is his favorite and had always opened up about his dream to act in a movie directed by the classy maker. Infact the actor had missed an opportunity to work with him last year.
After having dubbed for Malayalam hero Dulquer Salmaan in the dubbed version of 2015 flick Ok Kanmani, Ok bangaram, Nani was supposed to star in the mega Multi-starrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam last year but due to dates clash lost the role to Arun Vijay.
Now the latest buzz is that Maniratnam is planning to rope in Nani for a vital role in his next Multi-starrer which will be based on Ponniyin Selvan and speculated to star Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Vijay Sethupathi and Amitabh Bachchan. At the same time, Trisha is also likely to get in the board for a crucial role. It should be noted that Trisha already worked with Maniratnam for 'Aayutha Ezhuthu' and this would be a second chance for her.
