Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan made a good comeback with the Anurag Kashyap directorial Manmarziyaan, that had him playing the husband of Tapsee Pannu alongside Vicky Kaushal, and won rave reviews from critics.
The latest update is that the will star in the Hindi remake of French superhit Nuit Blanche, which will be based on a cop who has to save his son kidnapped by a drug lord after the cop's double cross goes awry. Bankrolled by Tanu Weds Manu producer Shailesh R Singh this movie will be launched soon.
Incidentally, Nuit Blanche was remade by Rajesh M Selva, as Thoongavanam and starred Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Trisha in lead roles. Trisha who did the female lead role in the Tamil version is likely to step back in Bolly with this project. The Tamil version was an utter flop.
