Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan who was last seen in Vishwaroopam 2 the sequel to his 2013 blockbuster movie Vishwaroopam had been completely concentrating on his political party Makkal Needhi Maiam activities and had been actively promoting his party.
However he got back to films signing the sequel to his 1996 blockbuster Indian, Indian 2 which was launched on January 18, and after a brief pause, the movie had resumed shooting and this movie is said to have a new flashback besides the episodes of Senapathy. Director Shankar has decided to rope in Chiranjeevi for an extended cameo in this portion and he will share screen space with Kamal and Kajal. However, an official word is expected.
Siddharth will play Senapathy aka Indian's grandson and will have a leading heroine as his pair, while the movie will also have a track for Senapathy's father character which will be paired with Nayanthara and another Kamal will have Kajal Aggarwal as pair. The movie is expected to be a Pongal 2020 release.
