Actor Pankaj Tripathi has been known for his impressive supporting performances in movies like Stree, Masaan, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Newton, Fukrey and Nil Battey Sannatta to name a few, and is a most sought after actor.
He had also won the national award special mention for his performance in Newton and had also made his debut in Tamil with an appearance as a cop in Superstar Rajnikanth starrer political entertainer Kaala directed by Pa.Ranjith.
Now the actor has been reportedly signed to play the role of Jahnvi Kapoor's father in the upcoming biopic of IAF female combat pilot Gunjan Saxena titled as Kargil Girl and bankrolled by Dharma Productions.
