Bollywood Corporate Giant, Yashraj Films is pursuing a legal war on Bellamkonda suresh for free making their Band Baaja Baarat which was made as Jabardasth (2013) starring siddharth and Samantha. The court had issued a stay on the sale of the film's satellite rights until the issue is settled.
But without heeding to Court's order, Bellamkonda sold them for a TV channel for 3.5 Crore. The TV Channel could not telecast the film due to the court stay and demanded the money to be returned. But Bellamkonda did not return the money and the channel filed a case on him. With interest rates go up, Bellamkonda suresh should have to pay Rs 11.75 crore to the channel now. Despite several notices, the senior producer is not even attending the court proceedings. Hence an arrest warrant is issued against him.
Interestingly, Jabardasth which released eight years ago is also a miserable disaster at the box office. Bellamkonda stopped film production for the last few years and is only investing money for the films of his son, Bellamkonda Sreenivas.
