Comedian turned hero santhanam was last seen making a comeback with the horror-comedy Dhillukku Dhuddu 2 is and his next release in Telugu will be A1 directed by debutant Johnson where he's paired with Bollywood based hottie debutant tara ALISHA BERRY' target='_blank' title='click here to read more about tara ALISHA BERRY'>tara alisha berry.
The actor also has Dagaalty helmed by debutant vijay Anand, an erstwhile associate of director Shankar, and co-starring Rittika Sen and yogi Babu. Dagaalty's first look poster released recently featured santhanam smoking, and this lead to widespread criticism for the hero endorsing smoking. The movie got released in Tamil and was a huge success. Now, the Telugu version is ready for a release.
After online backlash, santhanam understood the mistake that has happened in the poster and said, "Dacalty first look poster was inadvertently uploaded. Have realized that it may promote smoking which is injurious to health. Will ensure my future films will never carry such posters." The actor faced huge criticism earlier for his unreleased movie 'Server Sundaram' too where he paired with Vaibhav Shandilya.
