Nayantara is an adamant girl. She always stays away from film publicity and she did the same with Anamika too. Sekhar Kammula pleaded her to promote the film as its a lady oriented film and requires the promotion push.
But all that she did was recorded an audio interview of her and sent it across to the press. Anamika team forwarded the MP3 file to press and asked them to write their own version of interviews.
In the interview, Nayantara made a comment that Sekhar Kammula does not understand commercial cinema. She also revealed that she did not get convinced with Sekhar Kammula's decision to eliminate the 'pregnancy' part from Anamika.
Interestingly, Nayantara also revealed that she did not watch any of Sekhar Kammula's films before Anamika. And she agreed to the film only as she believed in the script of Kahaani.
