It is known that a Dowry harassment case was filed on actress Rambha and her brother by her sister-in-law, Pallavi. Now the case has taken a new turn. Rambha's brother and husband of Pallavi appeared before the police and claimed that it is a false case. He said that his wife has fled from their house in Chennai on February, 3rd to Hyderabad along with gold and other ornaments. And his father already lodged a complaint against her in Chennai after the incident.
He alleges that Pallavi filed the harassment case just to divert the main case. Pallavi was married to Rambha's brother 15 years ago. The couple have two sons of 14 and 10 years old. He also alleged that Pallavi's family used to stay in rented house in 1999 when they got married and now they have a bungalow, three flats and they should explain how they got so much money.
He also refuted the allegations that he took any dowry from Pallavi's family and challenged to prove if they can. Rambha's family promised to fully co-operate with police and requested Police not to let the Dowry harassment sections to be misused. Police have taken a cautious approach before making arrests in this case as the celebrities are involved in it.
