Producer Bellamkonda Suresh once used to have that midas touch which changes every thing that he touches in to Gold. The recent flops - Alludu Seenu and Rabhasa had taken heavy toll on his finances and he is almost on the verge of bankruptcy. The Producer recently launched his son's second with Boyapati Srinu and is trying to recover some of his old dues to fund the film now.
Accordingly, Bellamkonda Suresh had filed a complaint against Nageswara Reddy at Banjara Hills Police station accusing him of cheating and breach of trust. Bellamkonda alleged that Nageswara Reddy was given advance of Rs 25 lakhs to direct a film in his production house him but the project did not materialize and the director did not return the money which he paid in 2011.
After making a preliminary inquiry, Police registered case against the director under IPC Section 420 for cheating, and 406 for criminal breach of trust. It is already known that Bellamkonda earlier filed a similar case against Mohan Babu’s family over another financial dispute alleging that Manchu Vishnu had not returned the advance paid to do a film for him. In turn, Bellamkonda did not pay the rent of around 50 Lakhs to Gandharva Mahal. Manchu Lakshmi also filed a case on Bellamkonda for that.
