Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is Super Excited with two back to back hits in the form of Balupu and Power. He is currently shooting for his next, Kick-2 directed by Surrender Reddy and is keen on continuing his success streak. We are informed by sources close to the actor that the Mass Maharaja is approached for the Telugu remake of Bollywood Blockbuster, Special 26.
Special 26 which has Akshay Kumar and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles was one of the biggest hits of Bollywood in 2013. Popular Tamil Producer and Director Thayagarajan had bagged the South Remake rights of the film from the original makers. He is planning to remake the film in Tamil with his son, Prashant (Jeans Hero) in his own direction.
Recently Thayagarajan came down to Hyderabad and offered this film to Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. He even arranged the special screening of the film for Ravi Teja. It is said that Ravi Teja has agreed to do this project in Telugu provided a capable Telugu director is roped in and the final script is up to his satisfaction. Meanwhile Thayagarajan will remain as only Producer for the Telugu Version.
