Dusky beauty Sonia who made her acting debut in Sekhar Kammula’s Happy Days was ignored by Telugu makers and except one or two films; she was not offered a full-fledged role in any film. She was last seen in Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu as a friend of Samantha .
Though Sonia is not seen much on silver screen, she has achieved something daring which is making all Telugus proud. Sonia who was an adventure freak ended up with trekking Mount Everest base camp.
The actress went trekking at Mount Everest base camp to celebrate New Year and the actress was accompanied by four friends in her expedition. This is considered to be toughest season for trekking because the mountains are covered with snow. Sonia faced certain difficulties but she achieved with passion.
‘’I was short of breath, and was breathing through my mouth and had a bad chestache and severe cold.I walked barefoot on the streets for a kilometre as my footwear gave way. I will never forget it," says Sonia. Well, given her brave attempt and success, all we can say is hats off to this Happy Days girl.
