From past couple of years Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s 150^th film has been hot topic in industry, due to his political career Chiru kept himself away from films for around seven years and finally last year in August he accepted to do 150^th film. Since than many directors names came out to direct Chiru’s 150^th film but none of them was finalised yet.

Latest buzz is that ace director Puri Jagannath who scored a hit with NTR's “Temper” will direct Chiru’s 150^th film. Buzzes are also spreading wide that Puri is waiting call from Chiru, where he wants to showcase Chiru in a complete mass and that’s why he registered “Auto Jonny” title for Chiru, but either Puri & Mega family doesn’t announced about this news.

Even before official announcements many doubts are lingering in Mega Fans, Is Puri really capable of handling Mega Star Chiranjeevi 150^th film? Sources says that fans expressed doubt on Puri Jagannath because he is an expert in portraying the mass image of the heroes and he is also expert in showcasing heroism for Young heroes, but coming to Chiru’s film it should be complete different which should focus on comedy, family, political, etc elements.

Puri’s film making style is mostly apt for young & upcoming heroes and handling the senior hero is not that much easy as juniors & upcoming ones, so Chiru may face some inconvenience with Puri. Fans also expressed their wish that, Chiru’s 150^th film should help for his political career too, but Puri wants to make a mass oriented film with Chiru.  Recently Puri in an interview said that he is not having any script for Mega Star Chiranjeevi but said it would be a great honour to direct Chiranjeevi's 150th film.
