Tollywood producers these days make it a habit of releasing movies from neighbouring states and dub it in Telugu and release it when no other biggies are releasing in near future. In similar way, Producer Venkatesh brings Malayalam Psychological Thriller 'The Eyes'.
Shajiyem directed the Original and Meera Jasmine who has acted in Telugu movies like ‘Pandem Kodi’, ‘Gudumba Shankar’ and ‘Ammayi Bagundi’ is doing the lead role. The movie gets released under DV creations banner. Badri, Sankar, Suraj, Nandu, Geetha Vijayan and Sunil Sukhada are part of the cast.

Regarding releasing this movie in Telugu Producer Venkatesh says, "I was very impressed by the movie when I watched in Malayalam. I felt that Telugu people will definitely like it and therefore I bought the Telugu rights and releasing the movie with the title ‘The Eyes’.
Re-recording composed by Kanishka, is different which suits the taste of Telugu people. The film has completed the censor formality and received clean ‘U’ certificate. Censor board members said they felt like watching 'The Final Destination' series and this gives a moral boost to me."
