We provided you the news that 'Motta' Rajendran is roped in by the makers for a crucial role. He will be also essaying role of Vijay's jeep driver. Now we hear from sources that comedian Soori was initially given that role, but he denied it.

According to the sources, the team was so keen to pull in Soori. But Soori denied accepting the offer as he was hooked up with 'Thala 56'. The makers immediately went to Rajendran and he grabbed the chance.
