Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is one of the senior producers in
Telugu film industry. His 34th production film, Shivam is releasing on
coming Friday. Starting from 2008, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is not doing
films with other heroes and is only working with Ram who is his younger
brother's son. In one of the media interviews, Ravi Kishore admitted
that if not for Ram's cooperation he would not do films all these years.
He also said that both of them discuss about the projects in hand and
then decide doing them. He also admitted that there were instances he
was convinced by Ram in not doing a film.
When asked about
his influence on Ram's decision, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore revealed a
secret, "Ram was not in favour of doing Masala. He did not like the
characterization but is open to do a multistarer. I forced him to do the
film and it failed miserably". So Ram was misguided by his uncle. Also
Masala failure came at the time when Ram was in bad form. He churned
three flops in a row - Endhukante Premanta, Masala and Ongole Gitta.
Ram
however bounced back after the failure. Pandaga Chesko which released
earlier this year is a decent success and Shivam releasing this Friday
has good reports in the industry. He is also having one more release
churned out in December, it is Harikatha which is the directional debut
of Kishore Tummala who penned dialogues for Raghuvaran B.Tech. Sravanthi
Ravi Kishore is the producer of both Shivam and Harikatha. So that bad
decision did not influence their relationship.
