Deepika Padukone launched her NGO 'Live Love and Laugh'. She was seen dressed casually in a white and blue tee and blue denim at the launch. She spoke about the importance of spreading awareness about mental health. She was spotted with her father Prakash Padukone.
Devendra Fadnavis who is the chief minister of Maharashtra inaugurated the NGO 'Live Long Laugh'. This will deal with the issues of mental stress and pressure. The NGO was started with a motive to reduce mental stress.

Speaking at the event Deepika said,"We need to characterize mental illness and spread awareness about it. I know in the current scenario we lead stressful lives but you have to keep reminding yourself that it is important to live, love and laugh. After all that is what life is all about.
I started this because I myself had mental depression. I have experienced that anxiety and depression and I want everyone to know that there is hope." Deepika mother Ujjala Padukone said,"I initially thought Deepika is having some issues with her boy friend. But later I knew that the depression is due to mental and physical stress and we sought help from a psychiatrist. Now she is better."
