There is a famous saying that marriages are made in heaven. But these days, all the marriages are made through Matrimonal advertisements. The bride and bridegroom just make up their profile and most of them are not verified. There is no proper authentication for these profiles.
Most of them rush to get married and as soon as they find an attractive person they just send a request and they take it to the next level. Recently one of the person who claimed himself as a software engineer from Chicago showed interest on a girl from Chennai.
The girl who was pursuing M.Tech in a private engineering college fell for him on seeing his portfolio. She showed signs of interest and her parents proceeded. Marriage took place in a grand way and she was taken to USA.
But she came back to Chennai in two months and she reported to her parents that he was not a software techie and he is just a cab driver in USA. She also complained to police as he deceived her by playing role of NRI. However police said they can never take up the case as there is no crime involved.
