• ADMK Bhakts and Party members started the celebrations as Jayalalitha turns 68 today. There has been lots of prayers and Amma canteen offered free food for everyone today.
• All towns and cities across Tamil Nadu were draped in ADMK colours of red and black. All areas were consistently playing songs from Jayalalitha's old movies.
• Most of the songs were from former Chief Minister MGR and Jayalalitha. They completely blared the streets.
• Government bodies and corporations started welfare projects across various districts. Tree saplings were planted across various towns.
• Today for every female child born in corporation hospital, a golden ring and a sum of Rs.10,000 will be provided.
• Blood donation camps and Medical camps also took place today. But despite these, the party chief never made an appearance.
• DMK treasurer MK Stalin wished Jayalalitha. But he questioned the ruling party with respect to various functions.
• Party members also conducted special prayers in various temples for a healthy life and also for a sound victory in upcoming assembly polls.
