Telangana CM KCR right after coming to power instead of concentrating on developing the state decided to create new districts. TRS government created 17 new districts and CM KCR says the government has taken the decision for easy administration and fruits of development reach the poor and needy in a more effective manner, opposition leaders sees red.
T-TDP working president Revanth Reddy blasted KCR for creating new districts. He questioned KCR why he has increased districts from 14 to 17. He said KCR is trying to divert people's attention as they got disillusioned with the government and are turning against his rule.
He said he created new districts only to make his supporters happy and distributed each district to one minister. He questioned how 40 lakh population and 6 lakh population get new districts. He said no one demanded Shamshabad district but only to help My Homes Rameshwara Rao with 5000acres land,he creatred a district.
He said many are demanding for Gadwal district but KCR created Vanaparti for his supporter and ignored Gadwal. He demanded districts be created in a scientific manner. Revanth said “But Mr. Rao has included it in the proposals to benefit a businessman close to him who owns huge chunk of land in and around Shamshabad. The proposal was included as prices will go up steeply once the district is constituted,”
He added same is the case with Gandeed, located barely 11 km from Mahabubnagar district headquarters, which was integrated into Vikarabad district, whose headquarters was over 70 km away from the mandal
