People are left wondering about Gandikota Rahasyam after CM Chandra babu inaugurated Gandikota lift irrigation scheme and leader of the opposition Jagan Mohan reddy attacked the government crying foul on the scheme.
The Gandikota lift irrigation scheme at Paidipalem village across the Penna river will provide irrigation and drinking water to scores of villages served by the Pulivendula branch canal. The reservoir is a major irrigation project in Rayalaseema and forms part of the Krishna-Penna river linkage programme.
It is known that Kadapa is the bastion of Jagan Mohan Reddy and Chandra Babu Naidu is trying to crush him and conquer the fort. Chandra Babu decided to provide krishna water to Rayalaseema and score political points.
While TDP claimed credit for the irrigation project, Jagan Mohan Reddy attacked them for the same saying “It is a habit for Chandrababu Naidu to take credit for everything that is not his. The Paidipalem lift irrigation project is one such. It was former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who did all the ground work, released funds and took the project towards completion.Naidu has come at the fagend and is claiming all the credit,“
