Decades may pass but people can never forget the coup against the former CM NTR by his own family members influenced by his son in law Chandra Babu Naidu. Whenever Chandra Babu Naidu takes NTR name and lavish praises on him, opponents attack him for backstabbing NTR.
Even NTR's family members couldn't come clean on the coup.Be it Hari Krishna, Purandeswari, Daggubati Venkatesara Rao, Balakrishna, all have their conscience questioned. Now with Balakrishna getting ready to make a biopic on his dad NTR, controversy came to the fore again.
NTR's second wife Lakshmi Parvathi and Nadendla Bhaskara Rao warned Balakrishna that they would take legal action if he donot show real facts in the biopic. Balakrishna stayed clear from the controversy saying the film will not be a political one.
Now Purandeswari, Balakrishna's sister speaking to scribes said she has nothing against NTR's biopic but everything should be shown in a transparent manner. She said people know everything about NTR and Balakrishna donot have the luxury to twists facts.
On coup against NTR she said she herself tried to stop her husband from going to viceroy hotel but he didnot listen to her. She said now she is forced to answer all the bitter questions. She said she was never against her dad NTR's second marriage but only opposed his choice Lakshmi Parvathi.
On Balakrishna's role she said Harikrishna,Balakrishna, Chandra Babu met her in their house and discussed the coup. She said all of them were responsible for the coup.
